Police have arrested three suspects, including a 17-year-old, in connection with the murder of 20-year-old comedian and content creator Ndivhuwo Khadzianii, known as Skeem Mafenya.
The suspects, aged between 17 and 23, were taken into custody on Saturday afternoon in an intelligence-driven operation in the Malamulele policing area, Limpopo police said.
Khadzianii was found with multiple stab wounds to his upper body at Madonsi Boltman B near Malamulele in the Vhembe District. Police received a report at about 03:35 on Saturday after a community member heard a knock and saw a man bleeding. Emergency services certified him dead at the scene.
Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba said the motive remains unknown and the suspects are expected to appear in the Malamulele Magistrate’s Court soon on a charge of murder.
Limpopo Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Jan Petrus Scheepers condemned the killing and welcomed the arrests.
